Aleksey Savchenko is the author of Cyberside, Cyberside: Level Zero, Game as Business and other books, novels, research articles and study materials.

 

Aleksey is also a game development veteran with about 26 years of experience. He has produced, written for games, and provided business development services in companies such as GSC Game World, Epic Games, Black Wing Foundation, amongst more. He has worked in various capacities for third-party companies, providing services for projects by Disney, Square Enix, Warner Brothers, 2K, Gearbox and 505.

 

Aleksey has spoken at events like GDC, Gamescom, DevGamm, White Nights, Reboot Develop, and many other tech forums, largely on technology and future trends.

He lives in Guildford in the UK, is a member of BAFTA, and currently holds a Director, Tech, and Development position at GSC Game World. Its most recent release was S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
