Second month of Cyberside activities is concluded, and traditionally, a bit of a share on what has been done with our little hobby experimental project
General
Through February, we have organically grown the community across social networks to about 6,000 people following us daily, with another 32 pieces of content posted. We have had positive experiences working with influencers, introduced more types of content, and everything is looking promising.
• As an author, I have joined The Double Agents for talent representation.
• I have received several positive book endorsements, including those from the Daily Express and The Sun. • I negotiated several partnerships to secure a successful launch for Level Zero in April, which we will be announcing in March.
• There has been a lot of work in preparation for the Level Zero launch overall, with approximately 30 to 40 sources for promotion secured and currency being mapped.
Cyberside: Level Zero
We have edited the book; it is done and currently shipped for product design in digital, paperback, and hardcover formats.
• We distributed the book for beta reading among friends and family, with about 50 participants and 30 providing valuable feedback, so thank you! A wider distribution will be organised for next week, and we will open applications next Wednesday, March 12th.
• The launch campaign is shaping up, with the first few days of the digital version on Amazon being free. Please make a note if you would like to get it immediately at no charge. My hope is that if you really like it, you will want to get a paperback copy! :)
• I have started posting extracts every week, titled Level Zero Glimpses, and have received great responses to this small initiative.
• The book has shaped up so well that there are a few discussions emerging with publishers regarding global distribution.
Creature of Darkness
The Second Volume is now available on Amazon in digital and paperback formats, which can be found here - https://a.co/d/3CMPYRm.
• The Third Volume is currently in development and is scheduled for launch on May 1st. Volume 4 is in the editing stage, while Volume 5 is in the final phases of illustration. We aim to release an entire graphic novel as a premium hardcover product in Q4.
• We are also in discussions for publishing; however, like the book, my main interest lies in global distribution once it is fully completed.
The Boardgame
The website page will be up this week or next, and we are ready to announce it.
Fully conceptualised, prototyped, battle tested and going in product design.
The Kickstarter campaign is in preparation for the end of April, we are working on it with some of our very cool friends.
Things in store
We are semi-successfully experimenting with merchandise and it will take more time than expected, but we will get there.
As an interesting spin-off, “yours sincerely” is now writing op-ed content for a couple of established magazines that should be up soon, all related to industry, video games and futurism.
Some kind of celeb people suddenly like Cyberside, so there might be one or two high-level collabs.
There are two big reveal positions for March or maybe early April, but I’m not sure; we will see.
There is more media and types of content for IP representation in discussion :)
